Yolk invited realityhouse to reposition and rebrand their business to reflect the new ambition and values of a company that is becoming a national player. To communicate this vision, Yolk also wanted a new website that was very much focused on candidates and that used the latest technology delivered by our RealRecruit system.
The existing Yolk brand reflected the start-up origins of the business; fun and friendly – it showed a small recruiter with ambition. The rebrand needed to deliver weight and credibility particularly as the business was now working extensively with law firms and accountancy practices.
The recruitment website was a “mobile first” development that uses the latest responsive design technology. This means that from day one, the site was fully compatible with mobiles, tablets, laptop and desktops. The clear information architecture enabled realityhouse to create a very easy to use mobile ‘face’ with online application options including apply via DropBox and Google Drive.
The website itself was developed on the RealRecruit system providing cutting edge search and vacancy management as well as easy integration of video, news and blogs. Full integration with Idibu has helped manage applications and the apply with LinkedIn option has offered busy candidates an easy way to submit applications.
The new branding has helped reposition Yolk in the market place. Internal communication has improved and offered a new vision to the team. The website has been incredibly well received with traffic to the website increasing by 31% and the time spent on-site increasing by 27%.
